Vegetarian recipe ingredients for 4 large or 6 small veggie burgers
1 sachet of boekoeloekoe mix
1 raw beetroot (about 175 grams)
50 grams of feta or white cheese
1 small onion
Full hand of fresh basil
1 small piece of ginger, dice size
2 eggs
Preparation method
Peel the beetroot and cut into cubes. Cut the onion into quarters. Peel the ginger. Put all this together with the feta, basil and eggs in a food processor. Mix until an even mixture. Stir in the boekoeloekoe mix and mix well. Place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Divide the mixture into four large or 6 small patties. Then prepare the burgers according to the instructions on the packaging. Delicious with baked potatoes and a green salad or on a sandwich with raw vegetables.
Don't have a food processor? Then finely grate the beets, feta and ginger. Chop the onion and basil. Mix everything together with the eggs.
