Boekoeloekoe protein burger


Ingredients for 4 large or 6 smaller burgers

1 sachet of the boekoeloekoe basic mix
175 grams white beans (cooked, canned or glass)
1 small onion
2 eggs
50 grams of mixed nuts of your choice (roasted or roasted)
2 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes


Preparation method

Place the nuts together with a quartered onion in the food processor and pulse briefly until the nuts are coarsely chopped. Rinse the white beans and add them together with the nutritional yeast and eggs and process until a homogeneous mass is formed. There should certainly still be pieces in it, so don't let it run for too long.

Place the mixture in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to firm up. Continue cooking the burgers according to the instructions on the packaging.


The vegetarian recipe is based on a sachet of boekoeloekoe mix for four veggie burgers.
